shopping for your wedding photographer can be the one decision that make or breaks your wedding day! it not only the images and the personality of your photographer but its also knowing what your getting! with the 2011 wedding season in full bloom i've had the opportunity to speak to alot of bride and grooms and hear what their facing when it comes to booking their photographer and one of the biggest questions that come up is how do some studios do 10 hours of photography for $995, well it's simple its what not included in the $595 that makes its really not that great of a deal! there at least two studios in Chicago offering this deal and its really not a deal at all since all you get for the $595 is coverage and online ordering. If you want the image disk or an album it's real no deal at all! Its a great way to get clients in the door and hopefully you don't ask the questions that really tells you what your getting, I believe in showing my potential clients what to look for when it comes to wedding photography. Photography 101

Picking the right photographer for your wedding is one of the most important choices you will make and asking the right right questions will definitely help. The questions below are just a few that will help on making the right choices!
1. Can you meet your photographer before you book? Why because this is the person that will spend your wedding day with and believe me I've heard the horror stories!
2. Can you see the work of you photographer? A photographer is like an artist and no two are the same, by seeing their work you can get a feel for their style.
3. Can you have your engagement session done by your photographer. Why? once again here your can have some fun, get a feel for their style and have a chance to talk!
4. Image disk- when do you get it, are the images corrected? are they 300 dpi or higher?
These questions above will help you in picking the right photographer, ask a lot of questions its you wedding day! If you have questions about your wedding day please don't hesitate to call or email me and will be more than happy to discuss your wedding day with you.
